So I had a really hard time choosing a topic. I have thought long and hard about this. I wanted to do my daughters hair growth (weird I know, if you saw her hair, you would understand) and how we donated it to Locks of Love at about 4 yrs old. I wanted to do my kids first trip to Cape Cod (first ocean experience for my youngest). I wanted to do our disney trip or Disney animals. I also wanted to do the story of my house being built. My husband thought this was the best chose so I listened to him for once :) This was a long difficult build which will be interesting to tell. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. These are pictures before I fixed them. A lot of these I would like to fi by cropping or other things. I also need to go out and take an updated photo of my house now that it has been a few years and I have grass out front of my house. Now I am just hoping later today I dont change my mind and do another subject.

Nice job and good choice! My husband and I have built twice, so I can appreciate the work your photos display. It is definitely sweat equity when you create your own home and such an exciting day when it is completed. The sequence of photos tell a true story of progression from the land to the completed house. I can't wait to see your manipulated photos in your final project.
ReplyDeleteGreat job
I think that you did a great job doing this topic. The pictures flow very nicely and work together of showing the sequence of events for building your house. I think they do a great job at telling a compelling story by showing the very different steps that this project went through to create a house that you could live in and be ready. I definitely think that putting these photos in the order of the house being built helped it become a strong compelling story. I think that if you added a picture of your house now like you said, then it would show a before and after shot as well. It shows the events leading up to you living in the house. I think you did a great job and can't wait to see it finalized.
