final

Here is my finall project. My last picture is not very good. I went to take a picture with my camera and it started acting up. I had to use what I had because now it is in getting repaired.

So I had a really hard time choosing a topic. I have thought long and hard about this. I wanted to do my daughters hair growth (weird I know, if you saw her hair, you would understand) and how we donated it to Locks of Love at about 4 yrs old. I wanted to do my kids first trip to Cape Cod (first ocean experience for my youngest). I wanted to do our disney trip or Disney animals. I also wanted to do the story of my house being built. My husband thought this was the best chose so I listened to him for once :) This was a long difficult build which will be interesting to tell. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. These are pictures before I fixed them. A lot of these I would like to fi by cropping or other things. I also need to go out and take an updated photo of my house now that it has been a few years and I have grass out front of my house. Now I am just hoping later today I dont change my mind and do another subject.

A couple things that I learned about taking portrait, is the earlier in the day the better. I did  the outside portraits in the late afternoon and the lighting was really hard. I had some pictures of my daughter that I took in the back yard and the lighting was so dark. I went to the front yard and I had to moe myself around and see where the better lighting is. I wish I went out earlier in the day. Also I learned that white sheets for a background are really hard to use. I used a white sheet and at first with the yellow shirt my youngest was wearing washed her right out. I had her change to a darker shirt realy quick and it worked better. Also a key thing to remember, make sure your camera is not on low battery :) I had a really hard time also because my battery was dying so I had to charge it and then start over. So these 3 photos are of my 2 girls. I think they are ok but I am hard on my self and could easily tell you 5 things why I hate these starting with my daughter needs a haircut so we cant really see her face :)

I did another photo of Text. I really like this tool so I played with this tool more. I can really use this tool on a lot of photos for when I scrapebook. I put my daughters name and a little title on the bottom.

The first picture is the clone picture.I decided to add another statue to the picture. I havent used this before so I need to work on it more. I needed to straighten it more. The 2nd is the original picture.

Ok So I am for the very first time having trouble uploading a picture. I tried uploading it a different way. I hope it works. I just added text to the frog picture to say what and where the picture was taking.

I have to say this is my favorite tool so far. I can take a lot of pictures and do this type of stuff and love the pictures even more.

The first picture is a irish blurred picture. The second one is the original. I am not sure what I think of this. I am still trying to figure out how to use it. I need to find out how to pinpoint it a little better and make it more blurry.

The second one is the original. The first one isnt the best I have done. I have never used dodge before and I really just wanted to play around to see what I could do and see if I liked it. I changed her hair color her legs and clothing. I think if I had more experience with this I could lighten some things up on my daughter it self to make it look better. I also could leave her alone and make the surrounding stuff lighter.

 The first pictures is the before picture and the 2nd one is after. I am still trying to figure our how to take one thing and just adjust that color. I do have to say I like the original better.

The top picture is the original picture that I took in Maine recently. The bottom one is the after photo. I like the both for different reasons. I wish I could figure out how to just change the sky color. I am working on that.

The first is the original that I took down in the Cape. I took a couple other pictures and cropped the seashell and toys out. I am not a fan of it because I could not get the toys and shells not to have a different color brown. Also I was looking for a sun or something else and I could not find one in my pictures from the Cape. 

Photoshop

This is a photo I took at Animal Kingdom Disney. The before I cropped and after I cropped. I am also working on another photo where I can add things from one photo to the other. Been so long since I have worked with Photoshop I forgot how.

 This 2 pictures (top 2) are from a week and 2 weeks ago for one of the assignments that I never used.

 The 2 of the swamp are ones I took today. I have been waiting 3 days to take pictures but true to VT weather it does what it wants. I have had a overcast continues flow of snow for 3 days.

 These 2 are from a lake about 30 mins from our house. I thought if Itraveled I may see light. I traveled around for 2 hrs. No such luck.. This is Lake Bomoseen and I saw some ducks that found some open water and were having a feast. The other one is what a lot people like it for in the winter ice fishing.

 The picture on top is a picture I took 2 weeks ago.

This last picture is of an old road in Shewsbury that if you keep walking you come to a cover bridge. Due to Irene this road is closed now due to the bridge needs repairs and the town will not fix it.
Sorry if some are blurry it is the lovely snow coming down. In Shrewsbury you cant see over the snow banks due to plowed snow.

These are some pictures that I have taken in the last year. These are some of my favorite ones. I have a couple others of Chittenden Dam but they ar being a little stubborn right now. I thought I share these ones until I could get out this weekend and take some of the winter.
