This 2 pictures (top 2) are from a week and 2 weeks ago for one of the assignments that I never used.
The 2 of the swamp are ones I took today. I have been waiting 3 days to take pictures but true to VT weather it does what it wants. I have had a overcast continues flow of snow for 3 days.
These 2 are from a lake about 30 mins from our house. I thought if Itraveled I may see light. I traveled around for 2 hrs. No such luck.. This is Lake Bomoseen and I saw some ducks that found some open water and were having a feast. The other one is what a lot people like it for in the winter ice fishing.
The picture on top is a picture I took 2 weeks ago.
This last picture is of an old road in Shewsbury that if you keep walking you come to a cover bridge. Due to Irene this road is closed now due to the bridge needs repairs and the town will not fix it.
Sorry if some are blurry it is the lovely snow coming down. In Shrewsbury you cant see over the snow banks due to plowed snow.
The Swamp photos are the best! They have great depth and contrast.
ReplyDeleteI had some oth the same draw backs with the weather. . . working on using it as a posative :-) I also really like the ones of the swamp. you should try the closed down road when you have better lighting I'd love to see that :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the swamp photos the best. They have great color and detail. Some of the others are slightly washed out. I was having this problem because of the snow....its hard to know how to change the settings to be able to capture detail without the white snow whiting it out. I love the deer too! I was hanging out my bedroom window for 20 min waiting for the right photo of mom and her 2 babes last week BUT then someone drove in my driveway and away they ran!! I was so bummed. I thought i might get the best pic to share :( Maybe I'll post a running pic of them...lol
ReplyDeleteI love the swamp photos- lots of depth, color and detail. You will laugh but I actually had issues with the sun. I was trying to take a picture of a waterfall and the top was beautiful but the bottom had all types of shadows on it- I actually had to go back when it was slightly overcast.

ReplyDeleteI like all of your work. I also did several different shots to learn how. The swamp is really nice the way the colors are enhanced . Your little girls is fun with her new colors. Great job
